In the app, Account → Correct my data or ask a question opens an email with your account id already filled in, which helps us find your account.

Common questions

How do I make a story?

Write your idea, pick an art style (or Auto), choose the length and narration language, then tap Create story. It takes about a minute for a 30-second story. You can leave the app while it is made; we let you know when it's ready.

How do credits work?

Each story uses credits depending on its length and number of pictures; the app always shows the price before you create. The iPhone app grants 10 welcome credits once per iPhone, verified with Apple's DeviceCheck, and once per person. Signing in with another Gmail account on the same iPhone does not give another grant. Your website and iPhone app show the same balance when you sign in with the same Storyvio account. Credits never expire.

A story failed. Did I lose my credits?

No. A story that fails is refunded automatically, at once. If the connection drops while a story is being made, the app fetches it as soon as you are back online.

I bought credits but don't see them.

They are added as soon as the app can reach our servers; open the store screen to check again. If they still don't appear, email us with the date of the purchase. Your purchase is never lost.

How do I get a refund for a purchase?

Credits bought on the website are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy: email us with your Razorpay payment ID. Purchases in the iPhone app are handled by Apple; request those refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com.

My video stopped when I left the app.

iOS pauses video making in the background. It starts again on its own when you come back to the app.

How do I save or share a video?

Open the story and tap Share or save video. Every video carries an "AI-generated" label.

How do I report a story?

Open the story and tap Report a problem with this story, or email us.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Account → Delete account. This deletes your account, credits, history and stored videos.
